I'm on a beach!

I am on a beach. And it has black sand...and palm trees...and a turtle festival! Can you say déjà vu to Costa Rica? I am so excited, but a little annoyed at the general male population here. Yes, it's flattering, but I am tired of telling guys I won't kiss them. They literally come up to you, ask for a picture, ask if you have a boyfriend, and ask you to kiss them. From now on, I am married...

But on the up side, this town has almost no tourists which gives us an up close and personal look at how the natives live. And they also all stare at us. And come meet us. I feel like a celebrity. 

They have so much going on- beach volleyball and futball, inflatables for the kids, and tons of music and dancing. I was told within five minutes of arriving that if I don't know how to dance, I will by the end of the night. I am excited. 

And to end this short note, I met the two most adorable children and could actually carry on a conversation. I am so proud of myself! More later, amigos. (:
